How to Check IMEI Number
To check your phone’s IMEI number, the easiest way is to dial *#06# and it will appear on your screen instantly. You can also find it in the Settings under “About Phone” or on the box or SIM tray of your device. This number is important for phone registration and tracking.
Methods to Check IMEI Number
1. Dial Code (*#06#)
- Open the phone’s dial pad.
- Type *#06# and press call.
- IMEI number will appear on the screen immediately.
- Dual SIM phones will show two IMEI numbers.
2. Check in Phone Settings
- Go to Settings > About Phone or Device Info.
- Scroll to find IMEI, IMEI1, or IMEI2.
- You’ll see your IMEI numbers listed there.
3. Check the Phone’s Box
- Look at the original packaging box of your mobile.
- IMEI is usually printed near the barcode or label.
4. Check SIM Tray or Under Battery
- Some phones show IMEI on a sticker inside the SIM tray.
